Paris & London - Chelsea Flower Show 2011

Every gardener should see Chelsea at least once! What could be more beautiful than seeing the Eiffel Tower lit up at night ... or walking through the gardens of Versailles as Marie Antoinette once did. Then a quick and easy 2 hour journey through the Chunnel on the Eurostar and we are in London to take in its magic, history and gardens. This is a very relaxed tour with plenty of time to enjoy each and every new experience.

In Paris we will see the stunning Versailles Palace of course, visiting both the palace and the gardens. Then Monet’s beautiful Impressionist Garden, where art comes alive plus enjoy lunch at Hotel Baudy Rose Garden, home of the first painters workshop in Giverny and time to wander the lovely little village and visit the local shops.

We board the Eurostar for our train ride through the Chunnel and once we get to London we visit the totally different style of gardens… English in the true sense of the word … ‘must see’ gardens like Wisley, Sissinghurst and Great Dixter.

Two very different cities and two very different styles … then add the incomparable Chelsea Flower Show for a full day to this tour and you will come home with so many wonderful memories.

Of course you will also have leisure time in both great cities … there is so much to do that you will have no trouble at all filling your days, but the hard part will be deciding what you will do on those days.

This tour is booking already and I look forward to meeting each and every one of you!
